My Initial Ideas

My intial ideas for my music magazine was to do the 60's music and focus mainly on the 'hippy era'. So the magazine would have been based on music from the past such as, Bob Dylan and The Beatles etc. For my main image I would have a person preferably a woman dressed like a hippie, so I could get across the idea from the very first page. I would also include an acoustic guitar to add to the feeling of being a hippy.I wanted my magazine to be very unique and this is why I came up with the idea of having music from the past because its becoming rare.For the contents page I was going to make the layout look very different than most contents pages. However, I did want to go with the rainbow of colours that hippies like but I figured that it would look to busy and wouldn't look much like a magazine. The font was also going to be like the slanting, big, bold bubble writing that they use for most things.

My idea has changed slightly, I will still include hippy type music, but I want it to be more about indie/rock music because I know that it is listened to more nowadays.
