Front Covers

I really like the font from this cover of 'pepper.mint' and I may try to incorperate it into my own magazine. I also like the type of images they are taking and it has given me some more ideas for my own magazine. The image above is the design I favour most out of the two and I will use their ideas on my magazine, although there are other aspects from the image below that I will include on my own magazine.
Contents Page

I really like the design of these two contents pages. The one on the left I really like how they have a landscape photo on the top of the page and then a list of contents with an image beside it and then also the same at the bottom but the image is on the other side. It also has the features and regualar sections, which I think I will include in my magazine. The other contents page on the right I like how they have a portrait of the women up the side of the page, and and also the big masthead at the top.
Article Page

The layout of this article is from Cosmopolitan. I like how they have made the image like a diary and I would like to use this for my own artilce. However for my article because the artist is new the little images will be a documentation of her before she became famous and then the biggest one will be the after documentation and the kind of life she leads now.
Overall I am using most of the layouts of these magazines to help me construct my own magazine. I think that by doing this it will help me make my own look like a professional magazine.
Ideas that will most likely go ahead:
The fonts I am most likely to use are Script MT Bold which will probably get used for the masthead and the '&' on the front cover. Vivaldi, which will most likely be for the subheadings and other texts. Mistral, which will be used for the main headlines.
